Organizing Your Affairs
Over the past 25 years, we've helped hundreds of people with their estate planning. We've never charged a dime for it. Now, with our unlimited subscription through our partnership with Trust & Will, you can create a complete package of estate planning documents — valid in all 50 states — at absolutely no cost.. This online option fits about 95% of people we meet. If you're in the other 5% with a more complex situation, we can explain an option using a local attorney for a very reasonable Flat Fee.
You don't have to be a client… attend a workshop… or even visit our office. You DO need to have a brief chat with Jerry Goodman or Jared Hubbard to confirm you're in the 95% group. If so, we’ll email you a link to get started—and we’re available for any questions along the way. Your options are…
- Do It Yourself — Start by entering your information, and you can either request the printed documents be sent to you, or you can print them. At that point, you can execute them yourself. We're available if you need us, but you don't have to involve us at all. This is completely Free of Charge.
- Do It With a Little Help — Again, with the link we can send, enter your information online, then come to our office. We'll review everything together, answer your questions, print your documents, and serve as witness and notary on the spot. We can also help with some housekeeping duties such as beneficiary designations and account titling. About 1–2 hours. This is still completely Free of Charge.
- Let Us Do the Heavy Lifting — By providing us the completed Step-2 Profile form on this page of our website… we'll enter everything for you. Come in, we review it together, answer questions, print it, sign it, witness it, notarize it — done. This can also include the housekeeping steps to help organize and simplify things for your family. Also 1–2 hours, and this is also Free of Charge. To save time, you can submit your information on the profile form in advance… either on paper or through the secure Step-2 Profile form on this, the Affairs Page, at TheOrganizedInvestor.com.
The first step is to have a brief chat with either Jerry Goodman (865-415-2070) or Jared Hubbard (865-415-2067). This is to determine if the Trust & Will option is appropriate (usually the case), or should you consider working with a Flat-Fee attorney because you may have a more complicated family situation (small percentage of people).
